In the late twentieth century, the style of publications produced by the cemetery changed markedly.  Shifting away from soliciting buyers, the new pamphlets emphasized the visitor experience and interesting things to see in the cemetery.

A 1988 example of this trend is Thomas McGann’s pamphlet published by the Rosehill Cemetery and Mausoleum titled “Chicago's Rosehill Cemetery: Rooted in the Past, It Looks to the Future.”
